gie-Now Parts 1 to 4 tells the continuing story of Maggie-Now and her extended family of neighbors and friends. This sweeping tale of love, betrayal, hope and redemption is set against turn of the century Ireland and Brooklyn, New York.
Funny, bittersweet, and always engaging, the story of Maggie-Now, her family and friends continues to enchant Edmonton audiences of all ages since it first premiered at the Edmonton Fringe Festival in 2006. Charming, hilarious and at times deeply poignant, it is not too late to see what everyone continues to talk about!

Musical Direction by Brenna Corner Kendra Conner Spencer, the playwright, has managed to choose the right details, the right moments, the small triumphs and tragedies of regular, striving people, and lifts them to the level of the epic. Nothing much happens in Maggie-Now, apart from a multi-generational cycle of marriages, births and deaths, but we recognize all of this fast-paced, old-fashioned, not-happening as the truth of our lives and hearts."
